Personal Reflection

I chose this topic because it is a topic that many student athletes need to be aware of. The lives of steroids are not hard to get caught up in. Athletes use it one time and then the next couple times they ask for more and more which is slowly killing you body and the appearance of the body. I chose this because I want all athletes to know what goes on behind scenes especially for the athletes that are just coming from college and is blinded by all the money and caught up in the fame. People need to know that when you use steroids it is another way of cheating. Once be blinded by so much fame you then want to be the best in whatever sport you do which will bring the drugs and sex and court dates amongst a person that is only 21 and 22 years of age. Learning about this topic make me very aware of what goes on in the big league besides just money girls and fame. A person that reads this and that is a student of the game will understand the problems that athletes really have when they are not on TV or in the camera. Basically these are the little things that people need to know before running of and just taking the things that they see in store and on TV. I chose this because of the history and what steroids have brought to the new era of sports and life as we know it today. This really brings the unknown history of steriods and why they are here today. I just want to understand the why do people want these drugs just to make them better at what they do but when it all comes down to it. It really is affect them in a negative way that brings out the rage in people.
